Interview process

QIAGEN wants to hire talented individuals at all levels from entrants and young graduates to senior professionals. Interested? Here's what happens when you submit your application.

  • 1) Job search

    Look for vacancies on our website here. Find your preferred job by country, location, department, employment type or keywords. Click "Apply Now" to submit your application for the position. You could also apply for the job using your LinkedIn or Xing profile.

    If you are unable to find a suitable position, we encourage you to join our QIAGEN Talent Community. We will contact you when a suitable position comes up in the future.

  • 2) Contact

    Your application will be first assessed by our HR team and hiring manager. If you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be contacted and provided with details for the next steps of the hiring process.

    If your application is no longer being considered, you will also be informed. While we strive to respond to your application as soon as possible, we may need more time before contacting you where we have a high volume of applications.

  • 3) Interview

    During your first interview we will give you an overview of the position. We will also want to learn more about your skills, personality, working experience and of course what your expectations are for working at QIAGEN.

    Depending on the role and the level of the position, the number of interviews you need to attend may vary. The interviews could be conducted through phone, face to face or video conference.

    As part of the interview process, you may also be requested to complete a questionnaire which will allow us to get to know you better.

  • 4) Contract

    Once you are selected for the position, you will receive an employment contract. If you have any questions before you start work, please contact your country HR representative.

    If you were not selected, we encourage you to join our QIAGEN Talent Community. We will contact you when a suitable position comes up. Please also apply for other positions on our career website which interest you.

  • 5) Onboarding
    On your first day at QIAGEN, you will get to know your new role and environment, be introduced to your colleagues and important counterparts in other departments, your tasks and responsibilities.
